The hike is the Club’s annual January hike which includes lunch at a restaurant in Gatlinburg (approx. 8 miles from the start of the hike to the restaurant). Wear appropriate winter hiking shoes or boots. This year’s hike will coordinate with Wilderness Week in Pigeon Forge and many of the hikers for this hike and staying in Pigeon Forge will meet those hikers at the Sugarland’s Visitor’s Center who are coming from Tellico Village.

If you are planning to take this hike but leave from Tellico Village, we are looking for someone to lead the group from Cooper Visitor’s Center to Sugarland Visitor’s Center. The Club will provide the leaders for the actual hike. Please contact Bob Kutschera if you have any questions and/or would like to volunteer.
