Albright Grove Loop Trail/Maddron Bald Trail
Distance: Approximately 7 miles
Rating: Moderate with 1500 feet of elevation gain
Driving Time: 2 Hours

The highlight of this hike is the .7 mile Albright Loop trail which twists and rises through a virgin forest. It includes some very large trees. The Maddron Bald Trail provides access to Albright Grove and includes wildflowers and remains of early settlements. The wildflowers in late May should be exceptional. The trailhead is between the Greenbrier area and Cosby, about 15 miles East of Gatlinburg.

Hiking boots and hiking stick(s) are recommended. Bring ample water and a trail lunch.
Directions will be provided the morning of the hikes. Car-pooling is recommended and will be set up the morning of the hikes. Passengers are asked to contribute $6 to the driver to help cover gas etc.
